Last week we celebrated the second meeting of our project consortium at Galicia Supercomputing Centre (CESGA) in Santiago de Compostela, Spain.
The meeting allowed us to revise the first steps of the project, where the needs analysis was reviewed, as well as some of the most relevant experiences in the field of ICT, GIT and schools were identified. This report will be available from our website very soon.
The meeting was also a starting point to define our technological tools, developed by CESGA. This solution is based on three elements: a mobile app for tablets and phones, which will be used to collect data of different sorts, a map server, accessible through a browser, which will allow visualization, query and extraction of data collected and, in a later phase of the project, an online learning platform, so other European schools can join the experience and increase the chances of utillización of this educational platform.
